Downloading Drivers For Your PC

Few days ago i bought HP Sleekbook 15 series Notebook. It was good looking stylish , overall it was perfect for my use. The only thing which was missing was it's CD DRIVE. Well it don't have effect on me. When i used it without antivirus Window got Crashed and i had to install Windows 7 again.

I installed it perfectly but the next problem waiting for me was of drivers. I contact HP they told to download those from there site.I did but they didn't work on 7 as they were made for Windows 8.

So i researched hard and found a way to download my drivers without spending much time on Google for searching them. It was DRIVER NAVIGATOR .

Question-  What is Driver Navigator?

Ans. Driver Navigator is a Windows utility which checks your system hardware and download drivers for them. And i am sure they will work.

How to use it??

1. Download Driver Navigator From there official site or from torrent or (  click this if you want to download torrent file without any software )

2. Install it on your Notebook/ PC ans click on Scan System

3. After scanning it will show you which driver is not there and which is outdated. Download them all.

4. After download install them and than restart your PC/Notebook and see the magic, Everything must be working like a Charm.

Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 to be launched in India in mid January

If you want Durability in our Phone than Nokia is the Company for you. Nokia hasn't impressed there users in the era of Smart Phone.Most of the Nokia Smart Phone comes with there own OS which is Symbian, Though in competition to Android and IOS, Nokia launched there latest Operating System " Symbian Belle" which is good but was not able to defeat Android.

The Lumia 920 will cost about 40,000 INR, while the 820 will be in the 25,000 to 28,000 price range. When asked to Nokia, the company said did not made any official Statement about the launch of device in India.We have estimated the cost of these devices from the Singapore market , So one should not expect the same prices of these devices when it will be launched in India— taxes could make the devices cost a bit more.

The Lumia 920 will have an Special feature, this Smart Phone is set to support nine 4G bands.As Airtel has already launched there 4G services in India, so you can surf with super speed of Internet. Another thing which comes in  the Lumia 920 is it's pentaband WCDMA, as opposed to the iPhone 5 which is  quadband.

Nokia is trusting that this this will make a big hit, hence they have started there advertisement campaign.

Many people are thinking that Start Button is mission Than i thought to write about it.Actually Start  Button is not missing ,Microsoft has tried to bring something new.They have created a wonderful OS as Android was growing much faster than Windows. 

They now have created a shortcut for Desktop where you can find the most frequently used software and hence there was no need of Start Button in Windows 8. Actually it's a good idea but people are not accepting it as they got used to the Start Button, which they were using for many years.

Windows Start Button was Introduced in there First OS which was Windows 95 , in starting it was of rectangular shape,than they came up with a circular Button (in windows 7 and vista) and now they vanished it

If you want to Windows Start Menu again than you may use Third Party Utilities available on internet. They will gibe you a nice feeling. But according to me there is no use of installing Start Menu Button as there is no need of it. Already a hidden option is given in windows 8 that is Desktop option. Just Right click at corner and click on Desktop optoin

This menu provides almost all the things which Start Menu was doing in previous versions of Windows. You may find direct access  to Control panel , X-Box , Internet Explorer and of course the beautiful Tiles of Frequently used Software.

Installing Windows 8 along with Windows 7 (Dual Boot)

Let's imagine that your PC is currently running Windows 7 / Vista and you would like to install Windows 8 on the same PC along with your Windows 7 ( you may be having any reason for that ).

Windows 8 will work perfectly if installed separately , if you try to install two OS
 ( operating system ) on same system than it may brick your PC



Windows-8 system requirements 64-bit (x64)

CPU with 1 GHz
20 GByte Hard disk space
2 GByte RAM
DirectX-9 graphics Card

Windows-8 system requirements 32-bit (x86/x32)

CPU with 1 GHz
16 GByte Hard disk space
1 GByte RAM
DirectX-9 graphics Card

For Installing Both Windows 8 and 7 you must have atleast 30 GB of Free Hard Disk.

HOW TO INSTALLING WINDOWS 8 ON SEPARATE PARTITION.


So Here we Start.

Step 1.  Create a Physical Partition on your Hard Disk and  Search for “Disk Management” in the search bar  and choose the program with the description  “Create and format hard disk partitions.”

Step 2. When Disk Management window opens Click on The Disk Drive where you want to install Windows on, ( let us take it as C: drive in my case ) Right click on it ans select Shrink option as shown in this image.

Step 3. Next step is to specify the size you want to give for Windows 8 partition. For basic usage 30-40 GB will be fine. You have to enter the amount on Mega Bytes in the box for this you may use calculator

1 GB - 1024 MB  (Basic conversion )

and Enter these numerical number in Box which says “Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB.”

Step 4. Window will now make an "Unallocated Space " with the same Volume you specified in the Previous Step. Now Right click on that volume created and choose " New Simple Volume" 

 Now Give this Partition a Name ( L: ) and than  Format Partition using NTFS Format. Thats it , your new partition is ready for the installation.

Booting From Windows 8 DVD For Dual Mode.

Now in Previous tutorial you already have made a Partition for the installation of Windows 8. Now it time for the installation.

Insert the Bootable Windows 8 DVD and reboot your computer.

Now it should say this message " Press any key to Boot from CD or DVD" if it says so than follow step by step Procedure said by Windows 8 installer and select the partition you made in Previous tutorial for the Drive where OS is to be installed. It will ask by itself don't get confused. The installation will take about 15-20 minutes and in between you PC will get reboot many times. It's general not to be so worried about it.

In case your PC don't boot from the DVD and doesn't show this " Press any key to Boot from CD or DVD" message than reboot the PC again and when it is about the start again keep Pressing " ESC " again and again. This will show you the options from where you can install Windows. Select the CD/DVD Drive and it will start Booting.

Windows 8 is one the best Operating System available. Those who are new to windows 8 should know that windows 8 have pre installed Drivers and you will not need to download any new driver for it.But have a backup of your Drivers because in many cases people are not liking Windows 8 for few reasons, some says there modem isn't working, some says they speaker is not working and so on.

But personally i liked Windows 8 very much, i love the speed ans ease of it's working. And of course no doubt that it has beautiful theme. But without Internet connection you may find the theme bit boring as many of the apps will need internet connections ( Weather Forecast , X-Box Games etc.. )
